Michelle Greenberg has been elevated to general counsel of Frier Levitt, according to a Monday announcement from the firm.
In this role, Greenberg is responsible for monitoring and providing counsel and strategic advice with respect to the firm’s legal affairs, including matters related to risk management, compliance, conflicts of interest and ethics. Greenberg works closely with firm leadership to execute risk management initiatives and other strategic priorities. Greenberg will continue to serve firm clients in addition to her role as general counsel to the firm.
Since joining the firm 19 years ago, Greenberg has represented stakeholders in the health care industry in a wide variety of complex business-related disputes and employment matters. She has successfully handled a substantial number of matters, including advising health care providers on employment-related issues, partnership disputes, hospital and surgery center privilege, and noncompete/nonsolicit matters. Greenberg also has significant experience representing medical staff and hospitals.
In addition to counseling clients, Greenberg has worked closely with firm management over the years to develop firm policies and devoted her time to evaluating and mitigating risk.
