Jewelry store lease brings Levin-managed Wall Towne Center to full occupancy

Manasquan property marks second N.J. location for Blaine’s Jewelry Box

Blaine’s Jewelry Box is coming to Wall Towne Center in Manasquan, marking the second area location for the family-owned and -operated jewelry store, according to a Tuesday announcement from Levin Management Corp., the property’s exclusive leasing and managing agent.

Located at 2433-2445 Route 34, less than one-quarter mile from the intersection of Route 35, the 100,000-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center is now at 100% occupancy with the new 1,200-square-foot lease.

The property is anchored by a 71,000-square-foot ShopRite supermarket and also includes OceanFirst Bank, Joe’s Bagel & Grill, Master Park’s Black Belt America, Great Clips, AT&T Wireless and Wine King, along with a strong roster of local restaurant and service providers. Wall Towne Center serves a residential population of 130,000 people within a five-mile radius. More than 34,000 vehicles pass the property each day.

LMC Leasing Representative Kendal Hand-Freda arranged the lease.

“Blaine’s Jewelry Box was seeking a well-located shopping center with an in-place tenant mix that draws significant, repeat traffic; this property checked every box,” Hand-Freda stated. “As an established, locally owned business — with a loyal clientele — this newest addition will even further enhance Wall Towne Center’s ‘destination’ appeal for shoppers.”

Earlier this year, Wall Towne Center secured another new tenant, locally owned optical provider Wall Eyecare Associates, coming soon. Both lease signings reflect continued confidence among independent retailers. Within LMC’s leased and managed portfolio, recent activity includes startups as well as established concepts expanding operations or moving to improve location.

“These transactions certainly underscore the continued viability and resilience of brick-and-mortar retail,” Hand-Freda said.
