Mountain Creek Resort’s 38th annual Oktoberfest celebration coming in September

September is here and that means it’s time to bust out the brats and brews to celebrate the return of Mountain Creek Resort’s 38th annual Oktoberfest celebration. The fun runs on two days only, Sept. 17 and 18, with authentic German cuisine, games, music and more.

For $20, guests can also enjoy live music, entertainment and activities at the resort located in Vernon that is fit for all ages, including lawn games like the stein and keg holding contests, lumberjack contest, hay bale toss and wife carrying relay for adults, while kids enjoy petting zoos, bounce houses and face painting. Plus there are over over 10 varieties of German and domestic beers, cider, seltzer and canned cocktails spread across an expansive footprint of beer trailers and satellite drink stations.

“We’re excited to announce the return of the 38th annual Oktoberfest celebration to Mountain Creek,” Hugh Reynolds, chief marketing officer, SNOW Partners, stated. “We look forward to offering this fun and festive Oktoberfest celebration during an ideal time of year to visit North Jersey. We are happy to announce the enhancements to our food and beverage selections, as well as additions to our entertainment. We’re confident our 38th celebration will be our best yet.”

Musical entertainment includes John Stevens’ Polka Band and the Spins. With a whole host of unique German events, Oktoberfest at Mountain Creek has something for everyone. For more information, deals and daily hours of operation, click here.
