Le Léo in Jersey City’s historic Journal Square debuts modern amenities

Le Léo, the new luxury rental building that is now over 50% leased in Jersey City’s historic Journal Square, has just debuted a full suite of indoor amenities.

The curated recreational and social spaces include a lobby lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, resident lounge, coworking space with a conference room and game room and lounge area. Residents will also appreciate having local favorite Choc-O-Pain French Bakery + Café integrated into the six-story building’s design. The popular Hudson County café is now open in the street-level retail space at Le Léo with direct access for residents from the lobby lounge.

Le Léo also features an outdoor rooftop terrace with private dining areas and barbecues, sun loungers, a misting station and firepits with lounge seating. Other conveniences include an outdoor dog run, resident storage, bike storage and enclosed garage parking.

Developed by Fields Grade and Park Stone Management, Le Léo is located at 244 St. Pauls Avenue, just a short walk from the Journal Square PATH Station.

“We’re excited to fully unveil Le Léo’s amenity spaces, which are designed to foster community and encourage socialization among residents while also providing areas for remote working,” Robert Caulfield, a Fields Grade principal, stated. “Incorporating Choc-O-Pain into the lobby enhances the resident experience and creates a connection to the neighborhood.”

Le Léo offers a collection of 99 studio, one- and two-bedroom homes starting in the $2,400s per month with Grand Opening incentives that include one month free, according to the Marketing Directors, the building’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent. Immediate occupancy is available.

Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve, Le Léo features well-designed apartments with 9-foot ceilings, luxury plank flooring, in-home washer and dryer, and lavish kitchens with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, full-height backsplashes, soft-close cabinetry and under-cabinet lighting. Sumptuous baths are outfitted with porcelain tile floors and full-height tiled walls.

“Le Léo is quickly resonating with residents who are looking for a more boutique lifestyle experience in a full-service building with great access to this vibrant neighborhood,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of the Marketing Directors, noting that occupancy is well underway at the building. “For them, Le Léo checks all the boxes.”
