Inspira Medical Center Elmer receives 2 2023 Women’s Choice Awards

Hospital recognized for high ratings in obstetrics and orthopedics

Inspira Medical Center Elmer has received a 2023 Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and 2023 Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopedics.

This national recognition highlights hospitals that are focused on providing quality care and meeting women’s expectations for service. It is the only award recognizing excellence in clinical services based on robust criteria that consider patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.

Inspira Health CEO Amy Mansue said the system was thrilled to be honored.

“The obstetrics and orthopedics teams at Inspira Medical Center Elmer are honored to receive this national recognition as one of America’s Best Hospitals,” she said.

“At Inspira, we strive to inspire and empower healthier communities. That begins with our team’s commitment to delivering the highest-quality care and most desirable patient experience, and this recognition underscores that commitment. We are grateful to serve as a trusted health care partner in our South Jersey community.”

The methodology for the Best Hospitals for Obstetrics combines national accreditations, Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey results and hospital outcome scores with primary research about women’s health care preferences. America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopedics’ methodology includes HCAHPS survey results, primary research about women’s health care preferences, and review of surgical complications and infections incidence.

This year marks the fifth consecutive year that Inspira Elmer has been recognized by Women’s Choice for orthopedic care. The orthopedic award signifies that Inspira Medical Center Elmer is in the top 7% of 4,729 U.S. hospitals offering orthopedic services. Inspira Elmer is one of 341 award recipients representing the hospitals that have met the highest standards for orthopedics across the U.S.

“The care teams at Inspira Medical Center Elmer continue to earn national recognition for their focus on quality and creating an exceptional experience for each patient and family,” Elizabeth Sheridan, regional chief administrative officer for Inspira Medical Centers Elmer and Vineland, and Inspira Health Center Bridgeton, said. “We are so proud of their accomplishments and the care they provide to our community.”

The obstetrics award signifies that Inspira Medical Center Elmer is in the top 10% of 4,729 U.S. hospitals offering obstetrics services. Inspira Elmer is one of the 429 award recipients representing the hospitals that have met the highest standards for obstetrics across the U.S.
