Ruppert promoted to director at Pierson Commercial

Neil Ruppert, a longtime broker at Pierson Commercial, has been promoted to director this week, the firm announced.

In this role, the Monmouth County resident will continue to manage his diverse portfolio of retail properties while focusing on growing Pierson Commercial’s client base.

Since joining the company in the winter of 2018, Ruppert has been instrumental in building and strengthening Pierson Commercial’s diverse client roster.

With a focus on both landlord and tenant representation, as well as retail dispositions representing several of the firm’s first-time and longtime clients, he specializes in managing a diverse retail portfolio. Asset types include pad sites, ground-up and redevelopment projects, urban retail and traditional grocery-anchored shopping centers.

Recognized for his clear and thorough understanding of deal structures, Ruppert’s current and past clients include Aspen Dental, Driven Brands, Excel Urgent Care, Montclair Hospitality Group (d.b.a. Ani Ramen House, Morimoto, Amboy Burger), Toast City Brunch, Gottesman Real Estate Partners, Saxum Real Estate and Paramount Realty.

About Pierson Commercial

Established in 2011, Pierson Commercial is a leading retail-focused commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm providing a full range of acquisition, disposition and leasing services. Headquartered in Marlboro, Pierson Commercial’s retail leasing and property marketing assignments span over 6 million square feet of retail space across major downtown redevelopments, ground-up new construction and existing retail shopping centers.

“Neil’s dedication to creating and nurturing client relationships has been an invaluable asset for our firm,” firm founder and President Jason Pierson said. “His ability to represent both sides of leasing and sales transactions, combined with his deep understanding of the retail industry and market trends, has led to his success as well as our clients’ achievements.

“We are thrilled to promote Neil to a director position and look forward to his continued growth and contributions within our company and to the retail real estate industry.”

A graduate of Monmouth University, Ruppert earned a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in real estate. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New Jersey and New York, and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
