Advance Realty kicks off preleasing at new luxury rentals in Harrison

Brand new collection of apartments and abundant open space across from Harrison PATH station

A new residential lifestyle is blooming in Harrison with the spring debut of the Wyldes, a collection of 399 expansive rental residences and next-level amenities with a heavy focus on outdoor green space.

Developer Advance Realty has launched preleasing for the new five-story building’s well-appointed studios, one- and two-bedroom homes, with initial occupancy scheduled for early July.

Located at 1100 S. 5th St., The Wyldes is the latest addition to Harrison’s burgeoning Riverbend District along the banks of Newark Bay and next to the PATH Station.

In conjunction with the community’s preview opening, Advance has launched a website here where prospective residents can learn more and arrange their private journey through the property’s furnished model homes and almost 70,000 square feet of amenities spread across both indoor and outdoor areas. The developer tapped the Marketing Directors as exclusive marketing and leasing agent for the Wyldes, which was designed by MHS Architecture.

“As its name suggests, the Wyldes reflects our commitment to providing greater access to outdoor green space within an urban setting and promoting a healthier and more balanced lifestyle for our residents,” Dan Cocoziello, principal and chief operating officer of Advance Realty, stated. “In addition, we have prioritized the inclusion of flexible coworking spaces, ensuring that our residents have the necessary amenities to thrive in the changing landscape of remote work while still being conveniently connected to major employment centers in Manhattan, Jersey City and Newark.”

The Wyldes offers 45,000 square feet of green space designed to blur the lines between urban living and nature. The Sky Deck, a landscaped rooftop with panoramic views of downtown Manhattan and the Newark skyline, features a bar with TVs, multiple firepits, sun loungers and barbecues with outdoor dining areas. On the Greene, residents will enjoy a landscaped courtyard with lounge seating, TVs, firepits, sun loungers, ping pong and a screening area. Summer months will see the Pool come to life, an activated courtyard with a resort-style infinity edge pool with in-water chaise lounges, firepits, sun deck and additional barbecues and outdoor dining areas.

The Wyldes also offers a robust suite of indoor amenities, with something for everyone. This includes two lobbies with double-height lounges and a coffee station, commercial grade demonstration kitchen, virtual gaming/karaoke room with a mini bar, and a Pool Hall billiards room with media lounge and kitchenette. The Garden Bar lounge offers access to the outdoors, while the Clubhouse lounge features a media center and opens to the Pool. For those looking to tackle their work assignments from home, the Office and Reading Room library offer flexible coworking spaces, including private offices and conference rooms, providing the perfect blend of work and play.

Additional conveniences and services include a two-story fitness center, on-site covered parking with electric vehicle charging stations, a Pet Spa, resident and bicycle storage and on-demand home essential lending library by TULU. The building also adds street-level retail space to the neighborhood.

“In today’s climate, residents are seeking more than just a place to call home. They want a lifestyle that seamlessly blends the excitement and convenience of urban living with the opportunity to connect with each other, wind down, thrive and recharge,” Jacqueline Urgo, president of the Marketing Directors, said. “Through thoughtful planning and design, the Wyldes provides a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life while still keeping residents connected to the heart of it all.”

The homes at the Wyldes allow residents to spread out and enjoy their surroundings while fully embracing the benefits of indoor-outdoor living. Modern finishes and appointments include luxury plank flooring, in-home washer/dryers, integrated millwork home office nooks and floating shelving in most homes, and kitchens with stainless steel appliances, designer cabinetry and quartz countertops.

Anchored by the PATH Station with service to Jersey City, Hoboken, Lower Manhattan — just a 20-minute commute away — and Newark Penn Station, the town has attracted a growing resident base, particularly young professionals who also appreciate its value when compared to neighboring New Jersey Gold Coast locations. The town is closely connected to culture, shopping, dining and entertainment destinations, with the famed culinary gem the Ironbound neighborhood, Prudential Center and New Jersey Performing Arts Center all just minutes away.

The Wyldes is the third residential community introduced by Advance Realty within its multiphase Riverbend District, following Steel Works and Cobalt Lofts. Preleasing for the brand-new residences at the Wyldes has begun from the neighboring building, Cobalt Lofts, where prospective residents can arrange a visit to take advantage of initial pricing and opening incentives.
