Pair of tech firms move into Fairfield’s Highpoint Corporate Center

Highpoint Corporate Center is getting two new high-tech tenants.

The Fairfield office building signed a 15,000-square-foot lease with Fusion Telecommunications International. The cloud-services provider will move its regional office from nearby Wayne.

J.C. Giordano and Tim Lohmann from Avison Young brokered the deal.

Acuative, which provides information technology services and solutions, leased 6,500 square feet and will relocate its headquarters from another local address in a flight-to-quality play.

Michael Tesser and Ryan Haggerty of Colliers International represented the tenant.

Colliers’ Richard Mirliss and Alex Vitro are the exclusive agents for Highpoint and have orchestrated 50,000 square feet of leasing activity — including eight new tenants — since they were appointed last year.

The 162,000-square-foot property is located at 695 Route 46.

Mirliss attributed the success to a recently completed, building-wide upgrade initiative and affordable, flexible lease terms.

The owners renovated the center’s four-story atrium lobby and common areas, and introduced new amenities, including a café and a fitness center with locker rooms and showers.

There are also plans for a shared conferencing center.

“Ownership recognized the ability to position Highpoint Corporate Center as the Fairfield submarket’s best choice for attractive accommodations with the amenities sought by today’s tenants,” Mirliss said. “The ability to offer superior lifestyle features and market-beating rents has driven a lot of activity and ongoing interest.”

There are currently units between 5,000 and 32,500 square feet available at the Highpoint, located near interstates 80 and 287.
