Fundraiser supporting St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital to be held at Sax HQ in Parsippany

Sax LLP recently said it will host its 12th annual 4 MILER run/walk event to raise money for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital on Sept. 30. The fundraising event will take place at Sax LLP’s state-of-the-art headquarters, 389 Interpace Parkway Suite 3, Parsippany, for the first time this year.

An avid supporter of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, Sax LLP donates 100% of the funds raised from this event directly to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Department, which provides high-impact holistic therapies to pediatric patients. Therapies are funded entirely by outside support.

Since its inaugural event in 2012, the SAX 4 MILER has raised nearly $800,000 for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Department.

Sax LLP is the largest financial contributor, thanks to the sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers of the event.

“Sax LLP has always been committed to being a valued member of the communities we serve. The 4 MILER is one of our flagship events and we are proud to continue to support St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital as they offer essential programs and services through the Child Life Department,” Stuart Berger, CPA, partner at Sax LLP, said. Berger initiated the event a dozen years ago.

The 12th annual 4 MILER run is being held on a USA Track and Field Certified double-loop course. Additionally, the event will include a two-mile walk, kids’ dashes, DJ, face painter, balloon artist and other family-friendly activities. It will conclude with race awards and random prize drawings, as well.
