Orthofeet renews 71,870 sq. ft. lease in Norwood

Orthofeet, a manufacturer of therapeutic shoes, heat-moldable inserts and accommodative customer inserts including toe fillers and more, has renewed its lease for 71,870 square feet of industrial space at 335 Chestnut St. in Norwood, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises announced.

Michael Saccente, vice president of administration at Orthofeet, said moving to the area in 2019 was a game-changer for the company, which was founded in 1984.

“When we moved our facilities to 335 Chestnut St. in 2019, it marked a significant moment in our company’s history,” Saccente said. “Since then, the property and Alfred Sanzari Enterprises have played a critical role in the success and growth of our business. We’re very happy to be staying in Norwood as we continue to provide orthotic solutions to help people live mobile, pain-free lives.”

Constructed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises in 1969, 335 Chestnut St. is a 111,300-square-foot industrial building featuring 11 loading docks. The building is well-located with proximity to the Palisades Interstate Parkway and New York Thruway and is easily accessible to the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 287 as well as the George Washington Bridge and the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.

Stephen Jennings, vice president of leasing and market at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, said the firm is thrilled to maintain the relationship at the location.

“Tenants in the market for office or industrial space are increasingly prioritizing properties with stable, long-term ownership,” he said. “Our legacy ownership and hands-on property management continue to make us well-positioned to build lasting relationships with our tenants and ensure that our spaces fit their business’s evolving needs. We’re thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Orthofeet and look forward to playing a role in their success over the coming years.”

Established in 1984, Orthofeet has found its innovative shoe construction improves mobility, eases foot pain and improves foot comfort for its customers. Orthofeet’s orthotic shoes are biomechanically engineered with unique comfort features to offer the very best solutions for sensitive feet and other physical ailments affected by foot problems or poor posture.
