120 N.J. firms land on the Inc. 5000

In all, New Jersey companies on the list experienced median growth of 241%

Vytalize Health in Hoboken has experienced 6,687% growth in the last three years. That type of excellence helped the health services firm make its inaugural appearance (at No. 71) on the national Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies released Tuesday.

With an unwavering dedication to revolutionizing health care, Vytalize Health has a network of over 3,000 physicians that spans 36 states. In the past year, that momentum has led Vytalize Health’s rapid expansion nationwide, including the acquisition of Independent Physician Association of New York, one of the nation’s largest IPAs. In addition, Vytalize Health announced a highly successful $100 million funding round.

Only three other companies from New Jersey cracked the Top 100. Vital Contingent Planning (No. 28) of New Brunswick grew 10,718%; Lafayette construction firm Terco Enterprises (No. 32) grew 10,320%; and Roselle-based Penelope Bourbon (No. 84), a food and beverage company, grew 5,384%.

In all, New Jersey companies on the list experienced a median growth of 241%; total revenue dollars were $5.7 billion; 7,716 jobs were added; 15 companies on the list were newly founded; and there are 84 repeat honorees.

Here’s a look at the New Jersey firms that broke into the Top 500 in the Inc. 5000 list:

  • No. 28. Vital Contingent Planning, New Brunswick;
  • No. 32. Terco Enterprises, Lafayette;
