Colliers & Bridge Industrial partner to lease 1M sq. ft. of industrial space in Perth Amboy

Over 1 million square feet of industrial space in Perth Amboy is up for lease, according to a Tuesday announcement from Colliers and Bridge Industrial, which partnered with the brokerage.

A Colliers team led by Executive Managing Director Doug Bansbach and Vice President Linda Hill was selected to exclusively lease the space due to its deep industrial expertise and knowledge of New Jersey’s industrial market.

Set to be completed in the first half of next year, the proposed development will offer outstanding access to New Jersey ports and trucking routes, as well as best-in class warehouse features, including 40-foot clear heights, ample car and trailer parking and ring roads.

Colliers and Bridge said they partnered amid a period of strong demand for industrial space in New Jersey, especially along the Central New Jersey Turnpike Corridor, according to recent Colliers research.

The new development provides superb access to a large and concentrated consumer market and will make it easy for any warehouse or distribution company to access a third of the U.S. population within one day of driving and 13 million people within only one hour’s drive.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Bridge Industrial on this highly-anticipated, transformative project that is helping to revitalize the land and benefit the entire community of Perth Amboy,” Hill said. “Bridge is truly reimagining the future of distribution and logistics facilities and we are proud of the work we’ve done with Bridge so far. We know that this new development will be desirable for any tenant looking for modern high cube space in the highly coveted northern New Jersey market.”

“We look forward to the opportunity to work with Colliers and the city of Perth Amboy in the development of Bridge Point Perth Amboy,” Jeff Milanaik, Bridge’s Northeast partner, said. “Bridge Point Perth Amboy will be Bridge’s second large-scale development in the city of Perth Amboy and will provide the market with new, Class A facilities that are uniquely positioned to capitalize on Perth Amboy’s strong labor force, as well as immediate access to many of New Jersey’s major highways.”
