BODYBAR Pilates lease brings Washington Square Town Center to full occupancy

Atkins Cos. along with its joint venture partner Woodmont Properties, on Friday announced BODYBAR Pilates has inked a lease at Washington Square Town Center at 253-261 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Washington Township.

The lease at Washington Square Town Center brings the property’s retail portion to full occupancy.

Joe Raniszewski of MSC Retail represented the landlord in the 1,980-square-foot transaction.

Washington Square Town Center is a 35-acre mixed-use community that features 330 residential apartments, 100 townhomes, an assisted living facility as well as a state-of-the-art 40,000-square-foot Class-A medical office building anchored by Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.

The property also boasts 20,000 square feet of retail/medical space spread across two standalone buildings, and a 10,000-square-foot medical building that is fully leased to Axia Women’s Health.

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, BODYBAR Pilates is a modern fitness studio providing group, private and semi-private classes deeply rooted in Pilates principles. With franchised studios in 12 states, the Washington Square Town Center studio is BODYBAR Pilates’ first in the New Jersey market and is owned and operated by Jaclyn Bates.

With its grand opening slated for November 20, BODYBAR Pilates joins a wide variety of retail/medical tenants at Washington Square Town Center, including Santucci’s Original Square Pizza, What’s The Scoop, Bison Coffee Company, Strive Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation, Mid-Atlantic Retina, PetCheck Animal Urgent Care, and Lavish Nails & Spa.

“We are excited to open our studio and bring the BODYBAR Pilates method to the Washington Township community,” Bates said. “We searched throughout South Jersey and feel this is the ideal location to open our studio and make a positive impact in the lives of everyone who steps through our doors.”

Bob Atkins, Principal of Atkins Companies, added, “We are immensely proud of our work to bring a diverse mix of businesses to Washington Township and its surrounding communities through this project. The complementary assisted living, multifamily and healthcare components make it a truly one-of-its-kind location in the market and a testament to the power of visionary real estate investment.”
