JAG Physical Therapy expands services with new Hoboken location

JAG Physical Therapy on Wednesday announced the opening of its new Hoboken location, commemorated with a ribbon-cutting event.

This new facility is JAG Physical Therapy’s second in the city and is located at 59 Newark St.

Building upon the success of its initial storefront in Hoboken, JAG Physical Therapy is thrilled to announce its expansion in Hudson County. This growth allows the firm to better serve the community’s increasing needs while maintaining its commitment to offering exceptional health care services. A recent joint ribbon-cutting ceremony, held in collaboration with RWJBarnabas Health, marked the official opening of the new state-of-the-art facility.

The facility is overseen by Clinical Director Dr. Gianna Pepe, a former Division I athlete at the University of Maryland. Board-certified as a physical therapist, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Seton Hall University in 2021. With a focus on sports-related therapy, Pepe draws on her athletic background to enhance her expertise in addressing injuries and meeting patients’ needs.

“We are thrilled that Michael Prilutsky, executive vice president of RWJ, and Mayor (Ravi) Bhalla had the vision to bring this one-stop shop health care facility to Hoboken,” John Gallucci Jr., CEO and president of JAG Physical Therapy, said.  “In Hoboken South, Clinical Director Gianna Pepe leads our clinic, providing care for athletes, seniors and anyone experiencing pain or discomfort. We are excited to expand our presence in Hoboken with this second location, marking our ninth facility in Hudson County.”

The Hoboken facility will offer a range of services to patients, including physical therapy, cupping therapy, assessments for neurological conditions and concussions, and treatment for orthopedic and sports injuries. Furthermore, they will provide instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques, services related to women’s health, sports medicine, spine rehabilitation, as well as balance and gait training.
