“I’m thrilled to welcome a diverse assembly of strong leaders as CentraState board officers to help drive our mission to deliver high-quality health care in our region,” Tom Scott, CEO and president of CentraState Healthcare System, said.

Batchelor joined CentraState’s board of trustees in 2018 and served as secretary/treasurer in 2022-2023. A resident of Manalapan, Batchelor currently serves as managing director and chief operating officer at Jefferies Wealth Management, in New York City. Previously, she held leadership roles at Morgan Stanley and American Express. Batchelor earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Maureen Lawrence.

Lawrence joined CentraState’s board of trustees in 2017. Lawrence’s extensive career in higher education leadership included the role of chief financial officer at St. Francis College, as well as vice president of finance and administration at both Middlesex County College and Brookdale Community College. Lawrence received a bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University and a master’s from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Barbara McMorrow.

McMorrow joined CentraState’s board of trustees in 2020. Previously a mayor of Freehold Township, McMorrow is currently a Monmouth County Library commissioner and a member of the Legal Aid Society of Monmouth County. McMorrow taught at Freehold High School before retiring in 2003 as principal of Howell High School. She served as a councilwoman for Freehold borough and as the director of the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders. A devoted public servant, McMorrow has the distinction of being the only person to serve on the governing bodies of the borough and the township.
