Kushner launches new apartment brand, ‘Livana’; will commence leasing soon in North Jersey

Real estate developer Kushner on Monday announced the launch of Livana, a new apartment living brand aimed at meeting the increasing demand for sophisticated rental options and an aspirational lifestyle.

Derived from the fusion of “Live” and “Nirvana,” Livana will encompass the majority of Kushner’s new-construction developments in New Jersey, with the debut properties set to commence leasing this spring in Fair Lawn and East Hanover.

As Kushner ventures into this new chapter, Livana seeks to create an elevated living experience that resonates with residents in search of a refined sense of home and community.

Livana will embody a level of luxury that boasts meticulously designed exterior details, a refined color palette of interior finishes, carefully curated amenities focused on health and wellness, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.

While all Livana properties will incorporate timeless design and a strong sense of community, each location will be uniquely customized to cater to its marketplace and draw inspiration from its local surroundings.

Recognizing the importance of addressing the diverse needs of residents, Livana will offer a range of living options shaped for various stages of life. Whether it’s young professionals seeking a first home, families desiring a comfortable home to grow or active adults looking for a community of peers, Livana will provide a setting and lifestyle that aligns with every stage of life and individual aspirations.

The introduction of the Livana brand follows years of research and planning by Kushner’s development and design team.

“These new offerings will epitomize a fusion of prime location, quality product and exceptional resident service, perfectly tailored to meet the evolving needs of renters today and well into the future”, Nicole Kushner Meyer, president of Kushner, said. “We’ll achieve this through elevated finishes, thoughtful amenities and communal spaces that encourage connection, serving as ideal settings for residents to interact and proudly host their family and friends.”

The first two Livana properties, Livana Fair Lawn and Livana East Hanover, are slated to open this spring.

Livana Fair Lawn will introduce 307 upscale rental residences for those 55 and older to the Bergen County borough. The new four-story building, located at 17-00 Pollitt, offers a mix of well-appointed one- and two-bedroom apartments along with a full suite of resort-like indoor and outdoor amenities.

Meanwhile, Livana East Hanover, situated at 72 Eagle Rock Ave. in the Morris County township of East Hanover, features 265 rental residences offering one- to three-bedroom floorplans spread across four separate four-story buildings. Residents will enjoy a robust amenity offering, including a luxurious clubhouse.

Additional properties in various stages of design and construction include Livana Pier Village (Long Branch), Livana Colts Neck, Livana Monmouth Square (Eatontown) and Livana Livingston.

Michael Sommer, chief development officer of Kushner, added: “The introduction of Livana represents an exciting opportunity for us to expand our portfolio of exceptional residential properties. We are committed to growing Livana’s presence, delivering elegant living experiences that resonate with today’s discerning renters.”
