Garden Communities’ Millbrook Horizon in Edison welcomes first move-ins

Short Hills-based Garden Communities on Thursday said it welcomed the first residents to Millbrook Horizon, a collection of 40 luxury rental apartments in the heart of suburban Middlesex County.

Located at 97 Horizon Drive in Edison, Millbrook Horizon is a new introduction within a popular, well-established multifamily neighborhood that also includes about 700 rental residences at Millbrook Village and Millbrook Village North.

Bringing a fresh, elegantly designed element to this successful legacy Garden Communities property, Millbrook Horizon’s spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments are housed in three buildings and feature private balconies, 9-foot ceilings and gourmet kitchens; select residences also provide finished basements. Conveniences such as keyless entry, resident-controlled heat and air conditioning, and in-suite washers and dryers add to the lifestyle at Millbrook Horizon, while EV charging stations promote ecofriendly transportation.

“We are thrilled to offer this sophisticated new option at one of Edison’s most desirable rental communities,” Garden Communities’ Mark Ginsberg, developer, said. “Combining luxury with incomparable convenience, Millbrook Horizon represents all that modern apartment living has to offer. It is the perfect complement to our existing Millbrook addresses, which continually maintain full or near-full occupancy.”

Centrally located between New York City and Philadelphia, Edison is named among Niche.com’s 2024 “Best Places to Live” in New Jersey. The Millbrook neighborhood is convenient to shopping, dining, top-rated schools, institutes of higher education, hospitals and health care services, historic sites and dozens of parks and recreational facilities. Newark Liberty International Airport and major roadways — including routes 1 and 9, Interstate 287, the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike — all are nearby.

Monthly rents at Millbrook Horizon begin at $2,600.
