NIA National Realty appoints Joseph Langan as director

As part of Paramus-based NIA National Realty’s continued retail and industrial brokerage expansion, President Roger Gross on Monday announced that Joseph Langan has been appointed director.

In his new position, Langan will be involved in all phases of the firm’s real estate brokerage services.

Langan brings over 30 year of engineering, construction management, real estate
development, brokerage and asset/property management experience to the NIA
team.

As an industry veteran, he has managed development and investment deals
from inception and entitlements to completion. He brings a wealth of experience in
client management, negotiation and exceeding client’s expectations and has a
sound knowledge of the New Jersey retail and industrial market.

“My first priority is to strengthen and grow the existing sales and investment team as NIA expands its footprint throughout New Jersey,” Langan said.

Prior to joining NIA, Langan served as principal and president of the Construction
Division at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, where
he worked for 28 years. He successfully built and managed construction in excess
of $250 million in project value ranging from commercial office to health care/
medical, sciences and technology, multifamily and mixed-use projects.

During his nearly 30 years, Langan co-promoted and co-developed over $75 million of commercial real estate projects. Most notable career projects included River Driver Centers 1&3 (Spencer Savings Bank headquarters) and Riverfront Center/Riverwalk in Elmwood Park, a mixed-use office, retail and multifamily project valued at over $100 million.

“We’ve added a growth driven senior executive, Joseph Langan, who we believe
will help us maintain our position as a sought-after commercial real estate firm
serving multiple sectors. Joseph will not only help expand our market share, but his
arrival further signals to the industry that we are looking to bring in top talent,”
Gross said.
