Hornrock Properties launches leasing at Park & Arbor in Old Tappan (SLIDESHOW)

New community delivers 110 residences, country club-inspired amenities, and supportive retail

There’s a brand new high-end rental community nearing completion in Bergen County’s Old Tappan. Park & Arbor, located at 18 Park Ave., features 110 meticulously designed homes, country club-inspired amenities and 21,000 square feet of neighborhood retail space. Developed by Hornrock Properties, the property offers a mix of oversized one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans.

Leasing is now underway at the 110 meticulously designed and styled homes, situated on a suburban setting that provides the perfect blend of natural beauty, retail convenience and easy access to New York City.

The new community features two buildings designed to enhance the character and beauty of Old Tappan. One building is dedicated to luxurious apartments and amenities, while the second building includes 21,000 square feet of neighborhood retail space that’s expected to host a popular breakfast and lunch restaurant with outdoor patio seating, among other food and beverage and service options. Additional retailers in the works will offer a variety of lifestyle services.

“Park & Arbor epitomizes luxury and elegance in one of northern New Jersey’s most coveted locations,” David Hornblass, a principal at Hornrock Properties, said. “The residences are adorned with high-end designer finishes and appointments, while the extensive amenities rival those found in upscale boutique hotels, creating a refined and enriching environment that will attract both local residents and those seeking respite from the congested Hudson River waterfront cities.”

The diverse mix of oversized one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans feature interiors with a tremendous amount of space and elevated level of comfort. The well-sized homes are an ideal fit for empty nesters looking to downsize without sacrificing much space, and young professional couples and families who need room to grow.

The apartments incorporate elements often found in Bergen County’s estates and boast expansive, light-filled floorplans with large windows, luxury plank flooring, full-sized washer and dryer units, and kitchens equipped with stainless steel appliances, French door refrigerators, gas ranges, quartz countertops and full-height quartz backsplashes. Some units include pantry cabinetry as well. Additional features include large built-in closets, lavish bathrooms with herringbone tile, lighted mirrors and glass shower doors in select homes. Some residences also offer terraces and balconies.

In addition to the welcoming double-height lobby café access with a coffee vending bar, work booths and conference rooms, residents can also enjoy amenities such as a clubroom/speakeasy with a bar, multi-arcade, card table and billiards. For fitness enthusiasts, there’s a modern fitness center with Echelon bikes and a fitness studio with a CrossFit rig. Families will appreciate the children’s playroom, while pet owners can take advantage of the pet spa and walking path.

Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool with cabana seating, multiple fire pits, barbecues, outdoor dining areas, an outdoor bar with a TV, fireplace and lounge seating, herb garden, a putting green and a bocce ball court. A secret rose garden and a quiet outdoor dining area provide additional spaces for relaxation.

Residents also benefit from convenient services such as a package room, cold storage, and covered parking with electric vehicle charging stations.

“Immediate access to dining and retail options is an additional amenity,” added Brenda Cioce, founder and president of RHO Residential, the property leasing and management agency, said. “It is rare for a community of this size to offer such a comprehensive lifestyle package, combining luxury homes, hotel-inspired amenities and retail conveniences. Park & Arbor is poised to stand out in the Bergen County marketplace.”

Bordering New York state to the north, Old Tappan is enveloped in natural beauty, featuring parks like Stone Point Park and the historic Palisades, pristine golf courses such as the Old Tappan Golf Course and Englewood Country Club, and numerous hiking trails.
