NAIOP NJ announces 2024 President’s Awards Honorees

Nov. 4: Reception at Jewel Box at Gateway Center in Newark will Celebrate Volunteer Leaders for Outstanding Service

NAIOP New Jersey will celebrate the outstanding contributions of its volunteer leaders at the annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Reception on Nov. 4, 2024. The format of the event – which will be held at the Jewel Box at Gateway Center in Newark – has been reimagined to reflect input from chapter members.

An informal honoree reception will follow the awards presentation and replaces the traditional sit-down dinner.

The 2024 award recipients will be recognized for the vital roles they play in supporting the industry through their exemplary service and commitment to the commercial real estate development association.

The evening will also include a reunion of past NAIOP NJ Hall of Fame recipients.

The 2024 President’s Awards honorees are:

  • Legacy Award: William Hanson, NAI James E. Hanson
  • Pillar Award: Assemblyman Robert J. Karabinchak, N.J. General Assembly
  • Advocacy Award: David Greek, Greek Real Estate Partners
  • Volunteer of the Year: Keith Lieberman, T&M Associates
  • Rising Star Award: Bridget B. Wilcox, G.S. Wilcox & Co.
  • Student Award: Lauren Munari, Columbia University/Terreno Realty Corporation

“These awards acknowledge the great work of members who have gone above and beyond to advance the objectives of our chapter and ensure the success of commercial real estate development in New Jersey,” Mark Shearer, NAIOP NJ president, said. “The spectacular Jewel Box at Gateway Center is the perfect setting for this special evening, and we look forward to celebrating the honorees as well as welcoming back industry icons who have been inducted into the NAIOP NJ Hall of Fame.”

Cocktails and networking begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the awards presentation and honoree reception. The event will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
