Peapack Private Bank & Trust Welcomes Joseph E. Fingerman, President of Commercial Real Estate

Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select Market: PGC) and Peapack Private Bank & Trust announced that Joseph E. Fingerman has joined the Bank as Senior Managing Director and President of Commercial Real Estate, responsible for managing and growing the Bank’s commercial real estate lending platform.

Fingerman has been in the commercial real estate lending industry for over 25 years, specializing in developing and offering customized commercial mortgage financing solutions for experienced, well-qualified real estate investors and operators, as well as family offices, real estate partnerships, and major investment firms.

For over 15 years, Fingerman was with Signature Bank, last serving as Managing Group Director and Senior Vice President of the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group. In that role, Fingerman oversaw the Bank’s entire commercial real estate portfolio including growth in the New York and West Coast markets. Since leaving Signature in 2023, Fingerman built and served as President and Managing Director of A&E Real Estate Finance, a boutique private credit platform. He began his commercial real estate career at Commercial Bank of New York and later became a key member of the real estate lending group at North Fork Bank.

“I am thrilled to join Peapack Private as they continue their expansion into the New York market and continue their growth in New Jersey. I’ve worked with president and CEO Doug Kennedy in the past and have followed the Bank’s story for years,” said Fingerman. “I am also thrilled to be reunited with so many former colleagues who have joined Peapack Private over the past few years. We expect to do what we do best; serve the real estate industry with exceptional depository and lending solutions.”

A graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, with a Master of Business Administration in Management from Dowling College, NY, Fingerman has been named to the Power 50 list by Commercial Observer, a New York City-based real estate-focused publication, for multiple years. He currently serves as a board member for the UJA Federation of New York, Suffolk Y JCC and is a member of various trade organizations including the NY Apartment Association, Real Estate Board of New York, Association of Better Long Island, Long Island Real Estate Group and ICSC.
