Hildebrand named partner at MAD Global Strategy

MAD Global Strategy, a leading bipartisan public affairs firm, announced that Bill Hildebrand has been promoted to partner.

“I have been fortunate to have Bill as a colleague of mine in numerous career endeavors for nearly 25 years,” said Mike DuHaime, founder and CEO, MAD Global Strategy. “He is the consummate professional — smart, organized, hard-working and effective for our clients. And just as importantly, Bill is a great husband and father, and driver of the great culture we have at our firm.”

Hildebrand joined MAD Global Strategy in 2022. As managing director, he has played an instrumental role in driving the firm’s growth, fostering client relationships and promoting a strong culture across the organization. Hildebrand’s promotion reflects not only his individual accomplishments but also the firm’s continued commitment to recognizing leadership from within.

“Bill has been an invaluable member of the MAD Global team, adding extraordinary impact to all the work we do for our clients,” said Laura Matos, partner, MAD Global Strategy. “In addition to being a remarkable public affairs practitioner, Bill is a fantastic individual, and I am thrilled to welcome him to the partnership table.”

Built on nearly 25 years of experience in the fast-paced environment of political and public affairs campaigns, Hildebrand specializes in combining polling and data modeling with targeted advertising and grassroots mobilization programs to frame choices and achieve complex business objectives for Fortune 500 clients, trade associations and nonprofits. Among his key focus areas include energy, infrastructure, coalition management and real estate.

Additionally, Hildebrand leads the development and execution of paid advertising for a broad spectrum of clients — including political leaders, state and local ballot initiatives, national super PACs and 501(c)(4) advocacy groups.

Before MAD Global Strategy, Hildebrand previously spent a decade at Mercury, an international bipartisan strategy firm. A Rutgers University graduate, he began his career in New Jersey politics, became Northeast Political Coordinator for the reelection of President George W. Bush and later served as vice president of a New Jersey-based political consulting firm.
