Samaritan recently held its 35th annual golf tournament, “Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. This year’s tournament was presented by the Richardson Family Dealerships and raised a record-breaking $235,000+ to support the essential services Samaritan provides as a leader in home-based primary care, palliative medicine, hospice care, grief support and complex illness care throughout the South Jersey region.
Samaritan’s golf tournament not only supports its continuum of life-enhancing care but also included its Lexus Champions for Charity event, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, which offered golfers the opportunity for an exclusive chance to play at the famous Pebble Beach golf course in California. This year’s tournament also featured its annual online auction that included exclusive rounds of golf, sports tickets and a variety of exciting prizes.
“Our Drive FORE! A Good Cause golf tournament continues to support Samaritan’s comprehensive family of services that enhance the lives of our patients and their loved ones,” said Phillip W. Heath, president and CEO of Samaritan.
“We are beyond grateful for this year’s generous golfers, volunteers, sponsors, especially the Richardson Family Dealerships and our incredible golf committee, led by returning co-chairs Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio, for making our 35th anniversary tournament one to remember.
“Because of you, Samaritan is able to continue to provide quality, compassionate care to more than 12,500 patients, clients and their families annually throughout South Jersey.”
Next year’s tournament will take place on September 28, 2026.
