Bancroft, a regional human and health care services organization serving people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurological conditions, has named Colleen Bianco Bezich vice president of external affairs, a new position.
Bianco Bezich will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to strengthen relationships with policymakers, nonprofit coalitions, business leaders, and community influencers to increase Bancroft’s impact.
Bancroft is in a period of accelerated growth in an effort to increase access to services for those who need them. Her appointment will help fuel this growth through advocacy, community partnerships and public affairs. Â
Bianco Bezich has more than 20 years of experience and expertise in government affairs, community relations and communications. She became the second woman ever elected to the Haddonfield Borough’s Board of Commissioners in 2019 and began her term as mayor in 2021.
While serving as mayor, Bianco Bezich built the borough’s first public affairs office, revitalized the business improvement district in the wake of COVID-19, and secured the largest public funding award in the municipality’s history to construct a new police department headquarters.  Â
Bianco Bezich comes to Bancroft from the CEO Office and Communications & Government Affairs at multinational pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.
