Wood promoted to chief revenue officer at home care firm Alvita Care

Alvita Care, a leading private-pay home care company serving New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, said Feb. 25 Chuck Wood was promoted to chief revenue officer.

The company, which has an office in Newark, said Wood plays a central role in accelerating Alvita Care’s growth and strengthening its commercial engine, bringing deep experience in health care sales leadership, revenue operations, and team development. His promotion reflects the company’s focus on disciplined growth, operational rigor and long-term value creation.

In his new role, Wood will lead Alvita Care’s revenue strategy, including sales execution, referral partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives. He will work with clinical, operations, and regional leadership to scale the organization.

“Chuck has consistently demonstrated the ability to grow revenue the right way: by building strong teams, earning the trust of referral partners, and staying relentlessly focused on the client experience,” said Tracy Ongena, founder and executive chair of Alvita Care. “As we enter our next phase of growth, his leadership will be critical to scaling the business with discipline and integrity.”

Prior to his promotion, Wood served as vice president of revenue operations, where he helped drive significant growth, strengthen sales performance management, and expand Alvita Care’s regional referral network. Alvita said his leadership has contributed to sustained momentum across new client acquisition and market expansion.

“I’m humbled to accept this promotion as a reflection of the success of the Alvita Care team, and thankful for the opportunity,” said Wood. “I’m excited to continue serving our team as CRO to pursue our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care.”

Before joining Alvita Care, Wood held senior leadership roles across technology and professional services firms, including head of customer operations at Point Digital Finance and management roles at Bain & Company.

He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Army. Wood holds a bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Founded by Ongena, Alvita Care provides private-pay home care services designed to help older adults and families age with dignity, independence and confidence.
