Yusen Logistics (Americas) and Rabot form partnership to transform packing operations

Secaucus-headquartered Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc., which serves as the central hub for the company’s North American operations and a non-asset-based third-party logistics provider, announced an exclusive, strategic multiyear commercial partnership with Rabot Inc., the Vision AI platform transforming manual pack stations into intelligent, data-rich workcells.

The partnership aims to advance packing accuracy, productivity and compliance across Yusen Logistics (Americas)’s contract logistics operations, as well as elevating fulfillment quality, reducing operational waste and streamlining packing workflows at scale.

This joint initiative brings together Yusen Logistics’ deep expertise in contract logistics and fulfillment with Rabot’s real-time, AI-powered operational intelligence to address three critical challenges facing modern distribution centers: improving order packing accuracy, increasing packing productivity and ensuring packer compliance with customer-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs).

“Our partnership with Rabot reflects Yusen Logistics’ continued focus on innovation and operational excellence for our customers,” said Rick Brunelle, director of automation, Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc.

“Rabot’s Vision AI platform provides actionable, data-driven insights that help us improve pack accuracy, enhance productivity and better support our frontline teams while consistently meeting our customers’ demanding SOP and quality requirements.”

“Our collaboration with Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. represents a major milestone in advancing intelligent fulfillment operations,” said Channa Ranatunga, co-founder and president of Rabot.

“By embedding our Vision AI directly into Yusen’s high-performance logistics environments, we’re transforming manual pack stations into intelligent workcells that ensure every order is packed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance.”

The partnership will launch with an accelerated deployment across Yusen Logistics’ U.S. operations and potentially followed by a phased global rollout as applicable.

Rabot’s technology will serve as a key enabler within Yusen Logistics’ broader digital transformation strategy, supporting long-term goals around fulfillment quality, operational resilience and scalable innovation.
