Lawrenceville-based Xybion appoints new president

Lawrenceville-based Xybion Corp., a digital platform business solution provider, announced Monday that Kamal Biswas has been named its new president and chief operating officer.

“Having built a most modern quality ingrained, compliance embedded and unified operational platform to facilitate digital acceleration for highly regulated industries over the last several years, I am very pleased to see a high caliber, strategic and pragmatic leader like Kamal joining us to drive our business growth across life sciences and health care value chain including R&D, compliance and risk management with a focus on predictive compliance and lab operations,” said Dr. Pradip K. Banerjee, chairman and CEO f Xybion. “Kamal’s strategic vision, decades of experience of delivering outstanding values through management consulting, running pharmaceutical business functions and the experience of scaling up businesses will help drive Xybion’s growth through enhanced value & relationships with its clients and partners.”

Prior to Xybion, Biswas was a partner at Infosys Consulting. Before that, he spend years working at pharmaceutical companies including Novartis Pharmaceutical and Ciba Geigy.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Xybion’s innovations over a couple of years and found it to be very timely for the industry. Xybion has very powerful technology platforms that are simple and easy to use, not only making businesses more productive at a reduced cost, its machine learning algorithms can predict business situations early to improve compliance, manage risks for better business outcomes,” Biswas said.
