Panasonic Corp. of North America has named a new president for its Panasonic System Solutions Co. of North America unit, it announced Monday morning.
The Newark-based company said in a news release that M. Faisal Pandit will lead the division, which offers business communications, mobile computing and security solutions, and more, to government and corporate entities.
Pandit most recently served as Panasonic’s chief digital officer and senior vice president of the System Solutions company. He has also served as president of Panasonic’s Factory Solutions Co., among other roles.
“Faisal’s leadership and his customer centricity have transformed many of our businesses by driving innovation in our products and services, and by making our teams trusted advisers helping customers solve complex business problems,” Panasonic CEO Tom Gebhardt said in a prepared statement. “With an increased focus on digitalization, platforms and services, and his proven record of performance in highly competitive environments, Faisal is a great fit for this role.”
Panasonic Corp. of North America is the North American subsidiary of Japan’s Panasonic Corp.
