Developer cuts ribbon on The Enclave, a new, luxury rental building in Jersey City

BNE Real Estate Group recently held the official grand opening of The Enclave, a new collection of 260 luxury apartments and resort-style amenities in Jersey City.

Attending the event were Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, municipal officials and local dignitaries, and members from BNE Real Estate, Hoboken Brownstone Co. and McKinney Properties.

Located at 675 Monmouth St., the Minno & Wasko-designed, six-story building includes 40,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenities.

Amenities range from a rooftop terrace with a pool, private BBQ areas, outdoor bar and firepit; to a dog run and spa; multiple lounges; a game room; co-working spaces and conference room; children’s play room; a fitness center; covered parking; resident storage; 24-hour concierge; a Lyft partnership and pick up location; a Citi Bike hub; and more.

“The opening of the Enclave is exciting for Jersey City as the new addition enhances the rapidly growing neighborhood where the City borders Hoboken,” Fulop said. “The transformation of this land, from part of the Van Leer Chocolate Factory to new modern apartments, is a testament of our commitment to enhancing quality of life in every corner of this great City.  This project was not only a major overhaul of this site, but it also creates jobs and entices people to consider calling Jersey City home.”

The event took place one month after the developers launched leasing at the property, they said, with a number of residents already having moved in. The Marketing Directors is the building’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent.

“This former industrial neighborhood has quickly transformed into Jersey City’s newest live/play environment,” Jonathan Schwartz, a partner at BNE Real Estate Group, said.  “The Enclave takes full advantage of its convenient location, which is enhanced by our complimentary shuttle service to the Hoboken PATH Station, yet offers residents a more private setting with welcomed outdoor open space.  Inside, we’ve delivered stylish homes and a creative offering of amenities that focuses on fun.”

Apartments range from studios to two-bedroom units and feature 9-foot ceilings, modern appliances and in-home washer/dryers. Rents begin at $2,300.

“Downtown Jersey City continues to attract residents from both sides of the Hudson River and beyond with its exceptional combination of commuter convenience, vibrant arts, culture, dining and nightlife attractions, and value when compared with offerings in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island City,” Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors, said.  “This neighborhood is continuing that trend, and The Enclave is quickly emerging as the area’s signature residential address.”

The Enclave is within close access to the Hoboken PATH Station and the Holland Tunnel.
