160 Driving Academy, a provider of commercial driver training and education services, announced on Monday it has selected R.J. Brunelli & Co. as its real estate representative for New Jersey.
The Evanston, Illinois-based company said it is looking to build its presence in the state, specifically at sites with approximately 1.5 acres of land.
“Sites should include an existing building of at least 1,500 square feet for the classroom or be zoned to accommodate construction of a new building of that size,” Alexis Fiore, sales associate and account manager at the Old Bridge-based commercial real estate brokerage, said. “The schools can be located in warehouse/industrial, commercial or retail areas, as well as absorb excess space on community or four-year college campuses.”
In seven years, 160 Driving has grown to operate 48 commercial driver’s license centers nationwide. It opened its first New Jersey location in Lincroft in 2014.
“At a time when there is robust demand for commercial drivers, we are pleased to have been selected by this innovative company to help expand their footprint in New Jersey,” Fiore said. “Schools like 160 Driving Academy are integral to helping those seeking good long-term employment in the wake of the current pandemic.”
