Somos Inc., an East Brunswick-based registry management and data solutions company, announced on Thursday it has hired Sridhar Ramachandran as senior vice president, chief technology officer.
Ramachandran will report to Gina Perini, CEO and president of Somos, and be responsible for the company’s technology strategy and vision.
“I’m excited to welcome Sri to Somos, where he will leverage his extensive experience to help Somos in its mission to empower trusted connections between brands, consumers and communities,” Perini said. “With expertise across a broad spectrum of domains—including internet of things (IoT), machine-to-machine, mobile and cloud technologies— Sri will help lead us toward a strategic and dynamic technological future.”
Ramachandran, who has 19 years of experience in telecommunications, energy and cloud services, most recently served as vice president and Americas head of IoT and mobility solutions at G+D Mobile Security Inc.
“Somos is already innovating technologically in many ways,” Ramachandran said. “I look forward to joining this great team and putting our minds together on new ways we can provide even greater value for our customers.”
