Freshpet Inc., a Secaucus-based manufacturer of healthy pet foods, announced it has appointed Thembi Machaba to senior vice president of human resources, effective Aug. 1.
Machaba will be tasked with leading Freshpet’s human resources organization.

Machaba has more than 18 years of experience in talent management, organizational design, performance management and more. Prior to Freshpet, she was vice president global human resources and organizational effectiveness at Molson Coors Beverage Co. for 16 years.
