An ophthalmology practice has signed a lease at Branchburg Commons shopping center, according to real estate firm Larken Associates.
Abessi Eye Care & Surgery has taken 1,504 square feet at 3322 Rt. 22 W., the Branchburg-based Larken said in a news release.
“It is obvious that location and adaptability will continue to be the leading differentiators for tenants in our regional market in the challenging 2020 real estate landscape,” Rob Marek, executive vice president of Raider Realty, Larken’s in-house brokerage division, said in a prepared statement. “As we have seen at Branchburg Commons, the property’s location along an important regional thoroughfare and adaptability to a variety of uses has continued to make it one of Somerset County’s premier professional campuses.”
Dr. Bryan Abessi’s practice includes general ophthalmology, cataract and corneal surgery. His practice will open in November and offer routine eye exams, glaucoma care and more.
“While there are many challenges in opening a business during the COVID-19 pandemic, the responsive and helpful team at Larken Associates ensured that every aspect of the leasing and buildout process for my new office has been seamless,” Abessi said in a statement. “I appreciate their hard work in helping me realize my dream through the opening of my new practice in Branchburg.”
Berkshire Hathaway – Deluccia Commercial Group represented Larken in the deal, while Weichert Commercial represented the tenant.
