White Oak Transportation Inc., an Alabama-based contract and truckload carrier, has chosen PowerFleet Inc.’s solutions for its fleet, the Woodcliff Lake-based company announced this week.
White Oak, which provides brokerage, dedicated contract carriage and truckload carriage, will utilize a PowerFleet trailer tracking solution for its 875 trailers, according to a news release.
“With the 3G sunset around the corner, White Oak Transportation wanted to upgrade its old devices to a reliable LTE technology solution that will help them monitor and analyze their assets,” Mark Stanton, general manager of supply chain at PowerFleet, said in a prepared statement. “Employing our patent-pending LV-500 solution addresses the many challenges of having trailers offsite for long periods of time, and is ideal for ongoing fleet maintenance and management.”
PowerFleet provides wireless Internet of Things and machine-to-machine solutions to logistics fleets, utilizing both hardware and cloud-based software.
