Inspira names Talley VP of patient care for Vineland, Elmer and Bridgeton

Kimberly Talley has been named vice president of patient care services for Inspira Medical Centers Vineland and Elmer, Inspira Health Center Bridgeton and Inspira Health Center Woodbury’s inpatient behavioral health program, the system announced.

Talley brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience to Inspira Health, with particular expertise in strategic development, operations, evidence-based practices, lean principles, the science of high reliability, and partnerships. Her focus on delivering patient-centric care and elevating the patient experience fully align with Inspira’s strategic initiatives, which were recently announced as part of its new strategic plan.

“Kim’s experience and commitment to leading teams that provide an unsurpassed patient experience make her a great addition to our leadership team,” CEO Amy Mansue said. “We are grateful that she has chosen to bring her wide-ranging skills and talents to our health system.”

About Inspira

Inspira Health is a charitable nonprofit health care organization with a medical staff of more than 1,300 physicians and other care providers, as well as more than 6,200 employees. It is a regional leader in physician training, with approximately 200 medical residents and fellows in 13 nationally accredited programs at its hospitals in Vineland, Mullica Hill and Elmer.

Talley most recently served as the vice president of patient care services for the Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, including its Level I Trauma Center Newark campus, and Level III Trauma Center Wilmington campus. From 2004-12, she served as director of surgical services for Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

“It is exciting to join an organization that focuses on excellence in all aspects of patient care,” she said. “I look forward to working with the nursing leaders and the incredible care teams in Vineland, Elmer, Bridgeton and Woodbury as we build healthier communities and support the strategic plan.”

Talley earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Hospital and her Master of Science in Nursing at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She is an advanced practice nurse practitioner and a fellow of the Healthcare Management Academy. Talley previously served as adjunct clinical nursing faculty at the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the Community College of Philadelphia.

Betty Sheridan, chief operating officer of Inspira’s Vineland, Elmer and Bridgeton campuses, said she will be a welcome addition.

“As we continually strive to elevate and reinforce our commitment to safety for our patients and staff, we are confident that Kim’s knowledge and passion for patient safety will contribute to our journey as a High Reliability Organization,” she said.
