CBRE arranges 4 new office leases in North Jersey on behalf of Eastman Cos.

CBRE arranged four new lease transactions at 23 Vreeland Road in Florham Park, on behalf of Eastman Cos., according to a Monday announcement.

Insurance company Acrisure LLC will occupy 8,717 square feet; law firm Hedinger & Lawless leased 5,248 square feet; architecture firm Appel Design Group committed to 3,591 square feet; and law firm DeTorres & DeGeorge occupies 1,402 square feet.

Eastman Cos.’ director of leasing, Eric Maurer, in partnership with CBRE’s Jonathan Meisel, Daniel Casey and Erin Wenzler, represented Eastman Cos. in the negotiations.

“With these four new transactions, our team has now completed 13 leases within the Eastman Cos. portfolio since the start of the pandemic,” Meisel said. “Despite the ongoing challenges, ownership continues to reinvest in their properties and work closely with tenants to meet their unique real estate requirements.”

23 Vreeland Road is a 69,000-square-foot, two-story office building located just off Columbia Turnpike, not far from downtown Florham Park and the Route 10 retail corridor. The property was extensively modernized in late 2019 and became dubbed “the coolest little building.” Capital improvements included a new tenant lounge, café, conference center, remodeled lobby, electric car chargers free to users and a second-floor common area. 23 Vreeland Road is almost fully leased and has prebuilt suites available for immediate occupancy.

Trevor Patterson of Newmark represented Acrisure, Peter Shikar of CBRE represented Hedinger & Lawless and Michael Marchese of Chilmark Real Estate represented DeTorres & DeGeorge.
