Saxum Real estate adds chief operating officer to roster

After year of unprecedented growth, Saxum has hired David King to take a critical operational role within firm

Saxum Real Estate announced it recently welcomed David King as its chief operating officer.
King will play a critical role by leveraging over three decades of experience to increase productivity and streamline processes across the Summit-based firm’s expanding, vertically integrated platform.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome David to the Saxum team,” said Anthony Rinaldi, founder and managing principal. “Saxum’s growth has been exponential over the last few years and David’s significant experience in helping to scale platforms and portfolios across the country will only further assist Saxum’s continued expansion.”

Prior to joining Saxum, King served as executive vice president and director of real estate operations at STAG Industrial, where he was directly involved in establishing strategy while creating scalable processes to drive rapid portfolio growth and expansion on a national scale.

King also pioneered the launch of STAG’s customer solutions team to maintain existing relationships, as well as attracting new users to the platform. He supervised a team of 30
across areas including leasing, management, construction, development, forecasting & analytics, dispositions, customer solutions and market research. Before acting as executive vice president at STAG Industrial, King acted as managing director for six years, where he held responsibility for leading operations and dispositions for a series of funds controlled by the company and oversaw financial performance and fund returns on assets held by the funds.
