Levin named managing agent for Fort Lee office building

Levin Management Corp. on Monday announced it has added a high-profile Fort Lee office property to its growing diversified commercial management portfolio.

The North Plainfield-based firm said it assumed the role of managing agent for 222 Bridge Plaza South, a 108,000-square-foot, seven-story building.

Not only does this key assignment represent the expansion of LMC’s Bergen County foothold, but according to Joseph Lowry, senior vice president of acquisitions and business development for LMC, it also underscores the depth of the company’s commercial real estate services platform.

“LMC is widely regarded for its long history of delivering third-party real estate services to retail property owners,” Lowry said. “Yet our portfolio also includes approximately 1.65 million square feet of industrial and office assets — sectors for which we are seeing increased demand.”

Following 222 Bridge Plaza South’s recent sale, its new ownership selected LMC to ensure the multitenant office building is maintained to the highest standards and retains its competitive position. Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty will handle the leasing of the property for the new ownership.

222 Bridge Plaza South is located within the heart of a dynamic live/work/play neighborhood. The premier office property, which also serves as home to fashion company Southpole, is minutes away from Manhattan and accessible from major thoroughfares including Interstates 80 and 95; Routes 1 and 46; the New Jersey Turnpike; and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.

“The assignment is particularly rewarding because it represents our first project for this private owner entity, which plans to house its headquarters onsite,” Lowry added. “We intend to apply our proven management standards to all aspects of the building’s operation and to support 222 Bridge Plaza South’s long-term success. We also look forward to working with Prominent Properties on this project.”
