Stone Creek Construction Group delivers 3 projects in April

Matawan-based Stone Creek Construction Group delivered three commercial real estate projects in April, according to Stone Creek President Michael Bruno on Wednesday.

“Each of these New Jersey projects represent a different industry, and we are grateful for the partners who helped us during and through project completion,” Bruno said.

Herbert J. Sims & Co., a financial services firm that expanded into Red Bank, had its interior space renovated. The company’s new space is in the River Center Office Complex, owned in a partnership by Paramount Realty Services and Crown Acquisitions. Located on the ground floor, it features private offices, as well as reception area, huddle spaces, break room and main conference room. SCCG served as general contractor, working with and overseeing multiple partners including Rockbrook Engineering, Tricarico Architecture & Design, Encon, MD Retail, 18 Glass, Millennium Fire Protection, Everlast Floors, Access Commercial Doors, Elite Cabinets and Meli Plumbing.

SCCG also provided pre-construction and construction management services for a significant renovation of a 28,000-square-foot warehouse along the Delaware River in Phillipsburg for Clay Equities. In addition to the renovation of warehouse space, the project included office buildout. Partners on the project were USA Architects, DMG Engineering Group and Air Group. Clay Equities is a private real estate investment company headquartered in New York City.

The third project delivered by SCCG was the Pilgrim Chapel at the Shrine of St. Joseph, located in Stirling. This ground-up build was a new religious structure for the church. The heart of the design is the reciprocal roof, providing a unique feature for the building. Designed by architect Bob Coletta, the new chapel also contains a 12-by-12-foot mosaic depicting the life of Saint Joseph by Austrian artist Leopold Forstner.
