Del. company buys Island Heights security firm’s assets

A Delaware alarm provider has purchased the assets of an Island Heights security systems company, it announced recently.

B Safe Inc., headquartered in Wilmington and serving Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, said it has acquired substantially all the assets of Ocean Security Systems Inc., which served the Toms River area.

“Ocean Security Systems is a perfect match for B Safe for several reasons: its location in B Safe’s territory, company culture and its commitment to ‘Total Customer Satisfaction,’” said Philip Gardner, B Safe’s president.

B Safe said it has been in business for more than 38 years, serving more than 18,000 customers in total.

John Colehower of Mergers & Acquisitions LLC, based in Pennington, assisted in the deal.
