Cabinet positions

Adjutant general

Col. Jemal J. Beale (reported; not formally nominated)

Background: He is deputy chief of staff, Joint Force Headquarters, New Jersey National Guard.

Agriculture secretary

Douglas Fisher (nominee; no confirmation needed)

Background: He has been secretary of agriculture since 2009.

Attorney general

Gurbir Grewal (confirmed Jan. 16)

Background: He was Bergen County prosecutor.

Banking and insurance commissioner

Marlene Caride (nominated)

Background: She is a Democratic assemblywoman from the Ridgefield area.
