A.C. Moore has named Anthony Piperno its new president, replacing founder Pepe Piperno. Pepe Piperno will continue to consult for the arts and crafts company, acting as chairman and CEO.

Since 2005, Anthony Piperno has led Berlin-based A.C. Moore’s merchandising team, overseeing product development, global sourcing and store operations. In November, he oversaw the company’s acquisition of online arts and craft retailer Blitsy, as well as a major investment in handcraft marketplace Zibbet.
