  • Anthony J. Tavormina has been named an associate with the firm’s Construction Group.

“We are excited to continue growing our New Jersey footprint with such a talented group of attorneys,” said George Pallas, Cohen Seglias managing partner. “This is a region where we already have a significant client base, and we are happy to be able to expand the services we provide.”

McKenna has more than 38 years of construction litigation experience. He was a founding partner of Lewis & McKenna, where he practiced for 38 years. He previously served as general counsel to the Construction Industry Advancement Program of New jersey and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of The Moles.

“It is rewarding to explore new opportunities with one of the largest construction groups on the East Coast. The firm and I have many shared clients and contacts and I am looking forward to developing my practice with the Construction Group,” McKenna said.

Galusha will focus his practice on employment law, commercial litigation, municipal law and sports law. He has extensive experience in employment related disputes. He previously was a partner at McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP.

“The primary reason I joined Cohen Seglias was the great people that work here along with the firm’s vision for growth and influence.  And, I wanted to be part of the firm’s and the Newark office’s continued growth regionally and nationally,” Galusha said.

Tavormina was previously a senior associate at Lewis & McKenna and worked as a field engineer for several major contractors, including Skanska Koch Inc. and Dragados USA.
