Princeton-based TRAC Intermodal said Wednesday it is increasing its fleet of chassis, adding more than 2,000 to its Gulf Regional Pool.
The announcement follows on the heels of a news release Monday that TRAC is adding a total of 16,000 chassis throughout the year.
The supplier of intermodal marine equipment said the new and refurbished premium chassis will bolster its presence as it serves the region including Texas, Alabama and Louisiana.
“We are continuing our investments in the Gulf by adding premium-quality chassis that meet the rigorous and specialized needs of our customers in this region,” CEO and President Keith Lovetro said in a prepared statement. “We have expanded our TGRP fleet by over 10 percent in just the first half of 2018, and are planning to add more equipment during the balance of this year.”
