Prager Metis CPAs takes over Beck, Villata in merger deal

Prager Metis CPAs, an accounting and advisory firm with a major presence in New Jersey, announced it has merged with Beck, Villata & Co. P.C., an accounting firm with offices in Montvale and Miami Lakes, Florida.

Beck, Villata & Co. provides tax, accounting, assurance, estate and trust planning, litigation support, and forensic accounting services to a variety of industries.

“We welcome their addition,” Lori Roth, managing partner, Mid-Atlantic region for Prager Metis, said. “We’re excited that this merger enables us to continue to provide excellent, personalized service to the diverse businesses and individuals throughout New Jersey and South Florida.”

Under the merger, Frank Beck and Vincent Villata will join Prager Metis as partners. Prager Metis will also retain Beck, Villata & Co.’s two offices.

“We are excited to join a firm whose philosophy and culture we share,” Beck said. “Prager Metis has a level of expertise and a growing reputation that is unique for an accounting firm of its size. We feel it is a perfect fit for our firm,” Beck said. “We are truly very excited to join the Prager Metis team and help grow their already strong presence in both New Jersey and Florida.”

The merger was official Jan. 16 and was faciliated by Domenick J. Esposito of Esposito CEO2CEO LLC.
