Eatontown-based service provider Wayside Technology Group Inc. announced Friday that Steve DeWindt has resigned as CEO, president and member of the board, effective June 6.
The company said he resigned over personal health reasons.
Michael Vesey, current vice president and chief financial officer, will serve as interim CEO and president until a successor is named. Vesey has served in his role since October 2016.
“The board thanks Mr. DeWindt for his leadership, service and commitment to the company for the past five years and wishes him well,” Jeffrey Geygan, chairman of the board, said. “We are confident with Mr. Vesey stepping into this role as we continue to execute on our strategic initiatives.”
