Real estate firm Sitex Group has acquired a 30,000-square-foot warehouse in Fairfield, the company said in a statement.
Sitex, an acquisition and development company specializing in industrial real estate in New Jersey and New York, purchased the property from a private investor for an undisclosed amount.
David Zimmel of Zimmel Associates brokered the deal and will be the exclusive leasing agent.
The warehouse is located at 340 Kaplan Drive and features 3,000 square feet of office space and three loading doors. The company said it plans to make several updates to the property before it becomes available for occupancy in summer 2022.
“We think this building’s parking capabilities and functionality will appeal to numerous types of companies, particularly those involved in last-mile delivery,” said Blake Chroman, a principal with Sitex. “We continue to seek high-quality buildings and sites in infill locations throughout the region.”
