Woodmont Properties breaks ground on new luxury apartments in Warren County

Woodmont Properties on Monday announced that construction has begun on Woodmont Independence, a luxury apartment community offering 120 units in Independence, just outside of Hackettstown in Warren County.

Located on 11 acres, the property will feature one-, two-, and two-bedroom plus den residences and a wide variety of amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness and yoga studio, game room and swimming pool.

“As there continues to be incredibly strong demand for new, high-quality rental options throughout the state, especially within the suburbs, we’re excited to move forward on this community,” said Stephen Santola, executive vice president and general counsel at Woodmont Properties. “Woodmont Independence will provide residents with an outstanding resort-style living experience set within the calm of Independence.”

The interiors at Woodmont Independence will foster the ideal home-base environment. With oversized windows that will allow for an abundance of natural light, wood-style plank floors and 9-foot ceilings throughout, plus custom-designed kitchens, expansive walk-in closets, a spa-like master bath and a private patio or balcony, residents will have all the comforts of luxury living in the hills of Warren County.

Woodmont Independence will also offer a curated collection of amenities, both leisure-oriented and practical for everyday life, including a swimming pool, fire pit, barbeque grills, hiking paths and other opportunities for outdoor activities. For residents who work remotely, work-from-home spaces will include private offices, work pods and a coffee room. Additionally, residents have access to a fitness center with a spin and yoga room and on-demand fitness classes, a club room complete with gaming appliances and items, dedicated storage rooms, bike storage and package lockers.

Situated at the Northeast corner of Route 517 and Bilby Road, the property is accessible from several major highways, including Interstate 80 and Routes 46 and 206.
