JMF Properties’ luxury rental community in Glen Ridge now 100% leased

Luxury, comfort, convenience and resident health and well-being — all things that spoke to the preferences of today’s renter and accelerated the velocity of the leasing program at Clarus Glen Ridge.

The upscale rental community on the border of Montclair is now 100% leased, according to a Thursday announcement from developer JMF Properties.

In just six short months, the collection of 110 modern rental residences with a full complement of lifestyle amenities leased up.

Joe Forgione, founder and principal of JMF Properties, said the community’s emphasis on all signature elements of the Clarus brand was a winning combination that attracted tenants to the development.

“We’re proud that Clarus Glen Ridge is now 100% leased and thrilled that New Jersey renters have embraced the community so enthusiastically,” Forgione said. “Clarus Glen Ridge was designed to offer the best of everything to residents who so graciously choose to make this community their home, from curated amenities to plush interior spaces to exquisite, high-end finishes and beyond. We are perfectionists and spent a lot of time making sure every single detail of the building was just right, so, to see this type of response is tremendously gratifying.

Clarus Glen Ridge offers residents walking-distance access to New Jersey Transit’s Bay Street train station and numerous shops, restaurants and cultural attractions of vibrant downtown Montclair. At the same time, it is situated on a quiet street in suburban Glen Ridge, known for its small-town feel, elegant gas lamps and charming historic district.

Clarus Glen Ridge is the second community to carry the Clarus brand name. Its predecessor, Clarus Maplewood, is a award-winning community that captured the 2018 “Community of the Year” honors for mixed-use communities from the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association, the 2019 Good Neighbor Award from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association and is the first community in New Jersey to earn the prestigious WELL Certification – Gold Level by the International WELL Building Institute.

JMF Properties is poised to introduce two more rental communities in the coming year. A third Clarus community, Clarus Berkeley Heights, is expected to launch leasing in 2023, near the Berkeley Heights train station and the shopping and dining of Springfield Avenue. Another premium community, the American, is expected to launch leasing in the fall of 2022 at 1000 American Road in Morris Plains, with direct access to the Morris Plains train station.
