Zimmel announces sale of 3rd office building in Edison

Zimmel Associates on Tuesday said it recently sold a three-story brick office building in Edison situated on 4.32 acres of land. Located at 2015 Lincoln Highway, the asset is located right across the street from two office buildings that were previously sold by Zimmel Associates — a three-story, 66,130-square-foot building located at 2025 Lincoln Highway and a three-story, 68,487-square-foot building located at 2045 Lincoln Highway. Both of these buildings are currently fully leased.

Zimmel said that having its headquarters located in the heart of Edison brings a wealth of comfort to its clients. This, along with the company’s stellar reputation, attracts a multitude of clients looking to buy or lease a property in the area and/or surrounding communities.

“A client was looking to acquire an office building for an e-commerce business; one to both occupy and lease the remaining space,” David Zimmel, president of Zimmel Associates, stated. “This building became available and fit their needs perfectly.”

The building’s owner, whose name was not disclosed, decided to sell once its existing company no longer needed space within. Dan DePalma of North American Realty represented the seller.

The buyer will occupy 5,000 square feet and lease the remaining space with 2,000-12,000-square-foot options, which will be handled by Zimmel Associates.

The 2015 Lincoln Highway office building is conveniently located between the Edison and Metuchen train stations, with easy access to major highways including Interstate 287, the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Route 1. In addition, it features an atrium, a courtyard, ample parking spaces and one passenger elevator.
